MARY ANAWO

MARY ANAWO hails from Kogi state in North central Nigeria and resides in Jos, Plateau state. This natural born actor is a mass communicator and simple in nature, vivacious in character and passionate about what her hands, heart and emotions can produce as material for market, whatever it may artistically be.

MARY also specializes among other things as a fashion designer and has produced wears for fashionistas, comedians, musicians and celebrities within the entertainment industry in North central Nigeria and on air personalities with a knack for prolific design couture.

 Her love for producing passionate designs in cloth couture has extended into her love for some day soon going  into producing wonderful movie content for cable network consumption.

This wonderful actor resident on the Plateau has so far featured in movies like AMSTEL MALTAS BOX OFFICE PROJECT TAGGED; WHITE WATERS, RICOSHE, IMAGES OF ANOTHER DAY, ZAMAN LAFIYA (a Hausa genre feature), BEGE, YANAR GIZO, LARABA,  OUR LIVES (a TV series), ON SET WITH LOVE, A SUPPORTING ROLE IN ROGER'S OFIME'S "MAKE ROOM" and then some.

MARY ANAWO has been one time former assistant secretary general of the Actors Guild of Nigeria Plateau state chapter and is still active in playing roles in movies that come her way.
