His love for film was churned out from his background education at the National film institute in Jos as he majored a diploma in Film and TV production.
His skills in screen writing and editing has led him to produce his current 2020 movie production titled: "THE CONFESSION", which is already getting him world wide acclamation's in movie professional nooks and crannies of the international film world and festivals.
His prior movie works like: "GANGS OF J TOWN" opened up portals of professional opportunity for this budding talent in the heart of where Nollywood first thrived and created a network of links that spewed talent, art, finesse and panache as a young creative.
CHRIS, most especially, is one of Jos cities most promising and creative directors resident on the Plateau. His aspiration is to reach a larger audience with his directorial works and to tell the world our African stories the African way.
Director CHRISTOPHER OKONKWO is currently the Winner - For "Best Production Design for an International Short Film" at the Brazil international Monthly Independent film festival and also a "Filmmaker of the year 2020" nominee at the Plateau man of the year Awards.
