SHI'ANGHEN NIGERIA'S "THE LEGEND OF KHUM'GBOW" GOES TO HOLLYWOOD

IT IS THE ESTEEMED PLEASURE OF THE ENTIRE NOLLYWOOD ARTIST'S ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA TO ANNOUNCE THAT A FILM PRODUCED ON THE JOS-PLATEAU TITLED "THE LEGEND OF KHUM'GBOW" HAS BEEN SELECTED TO BE SCREENED AT THE 7TH ANNUAL HOLLYWOOD WEEKLY MAGAZINE FILM FESTIVAL IN THE USA!

The 7th Annual Hollywood Weekly Magazine Film Festival will take place from 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm at the Fine Arts Theater in Beverly Hills, California on the 6th of November 2021.

This year's prestigious event will honor and entertain dignitaries from Nigeria of which the Northern national coordinator Nollywood Artist's association and Plateau state Peace & Unity ambassador in the person of Ambassador Hoomsuk (who wrote, directed and also started in the awesome ethnic epic movie) will be there.  The invitees will be treated to live performances with a packed house followed by a viewing of a selected film presented to the audience of film & television executives from Hollywood, and invited guests.

All film projects (including the Legend of Khum'gbow) will be reviewed by the judges and published in the prestigious and international Hollywood weekly magazine for public feedback. The film "THE LEGEND OF KHUM'GBOW" starring a cast of wonderful and skilled actor's handpicked from the crop of local talent in the city of Jos-Plateau State demonstrated interest and favorable judges rating that made the 100% Jos made film to be featured in the Film Festival.

Upon submission, Shianghen Nigeria (an indigenous casting agency existing on the Plateau) had the option of purchasing advertising space in the festival's magazine and will be published in the International and National Los Angeles area distributed Hollywood Weekly Magazine.

This was made possible by the contributions of the executive producers of the film namely: Lady Gertrude Longwan Odoala, Lady Josephine Ibrahim, Dr Haggai Gutap and Mercy Manas (a kannywood actor cum producer) with support from The Nollywood Artist's association of Nigeria, Plateau Diaspora Tourism agency LLC USA/ UK, PLASMEDA (Plateau Small & Medium Enterprise Development Agency) , AFRICULFASH and SHI'ANGHEN NIGERIA (CSN) the casting society of Nigeria.

Films with the most favorable rating (including the Legend of Khum'gbow) will be screened at the 7th Annual HWMFF which will be held at the Fine Arts Theater in Beverly Hills, California on November 6, 2021!

Actor's discovered from this film includes Mercy Manas, Mary Yunana Anera, Jesse Klever, Papa Sunday Akpome, Nanle Illiya Shaibu, Nadia Runan Maina, Rhoda Bala, Theophilus Ojukwu, Okibe Patrick, Joshua Kalu, Ntiem Maryann Katman, Abayomi Abayomi, Sardauna na Jos, Benjamin Logo, Prince Salfat, Clement Gyang and a host of others.

This is good news for filmmaker's on the Plateau as efforts have been made for years to return at least 50% of Nollywood activity to the city of Jos which has for years been earmarked for hosting the landmark for filmmaking activities. This dream has been made possible as this independent film content from an indegeniuos casting agency from the city pioneered by Ambassador Hoomsuk jibrin has been achieved and will spur the next generation of actors, producers and directors from the indigenous society of the Plateau.

Expect international collaborations with foreign and reknowned film companies in the USA when  Plateau state comes back from taking centre stage at the Hollywood weekly magazine film festival 2021!.
